Saskatchewan’s DeLaet Poised for PGA Tour Breakthrough

Graham Delaet has one-and-a-half rounds left at PGA Tour Qualifying School, but given his T2 position heading into the home stretch, he looks set to earn his card. The globe trotting DeLaet has been cool as a cumcumber all year — and has played some terrific golf for 18 months now. He’s make up four Canadians in the tour next year should he get through. All the more remarkable considering DeLaet was broke last summer and had to figure a way to continue playing.

Ted Brown is supposedly Canadian as well from what I’ve read and he’s in the top 25 at the moment.

Trudeau is listed as a Canadian, and is now sneaking inside the T25. Brown is listed as being from Peterborough. Interesting. He’s slipped outside the 25. Wonder if he got through — or Barrett Jarosch made it — whether they could handle the leap from obscurity to the big leagues? That said, Jarosch was on the Canadian Tour. Strikes me that finishing in the Top 75 and getting Nationwide status is a big deal for these guys.
