Crosswinds Golf Club – Milton
By Jeff Lancaster
Got a chance to play Crosswinds GC in Milton on the Canada Day long weekend.
An interesting course that is definitely worth checking out. Here’s a quick look…
Its characterized by its many bunkers and the distinctive collection areas around many of its greens (see #18 below). Â
Although its built on a fairly flat site, there is ample fairway bunkering and water on about 1/3 of its holes, enough to keep golfers honest.
But the most distinctive part of this course is its diabolical, undulating greens, like on the 16th hole (below) and the tough 6th hole (2nd below).
The scenic 10th hole at Crosswinds GC (below).
This course has definitely been a welcome addition to the the Milton/Oakville golf scene…at $75 peak time green fee rate it provides a pretty good value for the dollar.
